The main appeal of the client, however, continues to be its integration with MySpace’s other features. We couldn’t really get behind the whole letting people chat away on their cell phones during a flight proposal, but for those out there who can barely stand to be disconnected from the outside world for a few hours (let’s face it, we include ourselves in that category), JetBlue’s latest offering is a terrific option. The company has announced plans to begin implementing free in-flight e-mail and Yahoo! Messenger service, according to a post over at Engadget .
Schoolchildren in Wells are decorating special Christmas cards this month to help keep their grandparents and elderly neighbours safe from distraction burglars. there s a reason why it s a preview version i don t think the messenger team are magicians who could just code an entire instant messaging application with all your requests in just 3 mos. cut them some slack. fine people waited for 332 days, so what? the guys in the team worked on the application for a longer time. yahoo said it was coming yeah.. but they never mentioned when.. so people don t have to complain. :)) but anyway that s most people do.
I disagree. I think that the Gmail integration is more useful than a separate application like Meebo. If I am online, then Gmail is open. Always. I don’t want to have to sign into another page and keep it open as well. But I do think that this (along with Jabber transports and client-side solutions like GAIM and Meebo) is an awkward solution to IM interoperability. The best fix is for the IM networks to adopt a common open protocol, like Jabber, for communicating with one another.
